Funeral Crowd

They’ve gathered here in the carnival of the deceased with the body. A small group of men walking in silence are here to bury the dead.

After the long and tiring journey, the vehicle finally is coming to rest. All the allotted fuel are consumed, engines are broken with rust and dust the vehicle must go down at last. Men dig up the earth fast. The journey has ended, the time for vehicle is over, the tired traveler has come out.

A new journey begins, it was my vehicle is gone and will arrive just as it did at the beginning, till then I must walk on the feet and cross treacherous mountains and perilous seas.

I have tried and tried to fix this garment but from this day it’s over. I wished to wear it forever, now I am standing here, naked, undeceived. For years have I worn it and for years i adorned it, and at last it’s time to part. You gifted me this gift and You took it away, after all it was all yours and it was not mine. And Your will is my reality and to You is my return.

The love I had for this dress was immense, the separation, painful. Still do i ache from the ordeal and may be more to come if not Your forgiveness shrouds me from darkness.

The night is dark and cold winds sweeping across my body. That cloth was the only thing which covered me, protected me from cold and sheltered me with Love was not my thing and to love requires greatness which I never had, but I fear for what I have ahead and being saved is all i care about right now.
